With Guy Lafleur at the peak of his game, and the defensive Big Three and Ken Dryden in goal, the 1976-77 Montreal Canadiens are widely considered the best team of all-time. The Habs lost once at the Forum while going 60-8-12 for an NHL-record 132 points. Then they then won 12 of 14 playoff games, sweeping the Bruins in the final to win their 20th Stanley Cup. This 1976-77 Stanley Cup championship 14K gold and diamond ring was presented to Mario Tremblay. This beautiful size 10 ring weighs approx 35 grams, with the iconic CH on the face, set in diamonds, surrounded by the raised gold letters spelling out "NHL Champions" on a black background. A raised Stanley Cup, "1977" and "Tremblay" adorn one shank, while the other shank features "Club De Hockey Canadien” and “Champions Est-East". Below is "60-8-12" reflecting the team's regular season mark, giving the Canadiens an amazing 132 points for the season which remains a league record. Inside the band of this magnificent bauble is engraved "Josten's 14K", along with Tremblay's facsimile autograph. Showing wear from use, the ring sports scratches to the inner and outer band and shanks. There is also a small blemish to the interior band. From Mario Tremblay's personal collection, his signed LOA will accompany along with the original Josten's box.
