Coined the greatest hitter that ever lived and spending his last minor league season with the Minneapolis Millers in 1938, 19-year-old Ted Williams would register a .366 batting average with 43 home runs. Featured here in this black and white image is the young Williams during his time in Minnesota before the Major League stardom. A 16” x 20” photo that is housed in a beautiful cherry coloured wood frame that shows wear at the bottom right corner, with full dimensions of 23 ½” x 27 ½”. The piece has been double matted under black and red while a career-achievements sits at the bottom of the piece. Williams has penned a beautiful bold blue ink signature over the image that displays without issue with the piece having been serial numbered “900/1000” along the bottom. An LOA from JSA accompanies the piece.
