A tremendous opportunity to fulfill your dream of owning a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle baseball card can be realized here, with this example of iconic card #311 recently returning from PSA-land where it received a FR 1.5 assessment. The most recognizable, important and valuable gum card of the post-war era needs no introduction, with the story of ‘52 Topps cards and the elusive high numbers also well-known to hobbyists. This example is the #311B version, (with a rough top edge of the marquee on the front, the last “e” of the facsimile autograph stopping at the bottom and the stitching on the back number circle pointing right), and exhibits a top-to-bottom crease in the middle of the card. Corner and edge wear, along with some edge chipping is also present, with a small crease observed in each corner. Stirring in any condition are ’52 Mantles, with an enticing low grade card of The Mick, one of baseball’s most beloved and most famous legends, meriting ample consideration. Good luck with this classic collectible, to arrive in a new scratch and scuff-free PSA holder. Oh, to own a ’52 Topps Mantle!
