A mainstay on the Calgary blueline for 11 of his 15 NHL seasons, Robin Regehr would finally win the Stanley Cup in 2014 as a member of the Los Angeles Kings. Hailing from 2008-09 is this Calgary Flames alternate captain’s jersey worn by Regehr. Made by Reebok, a size “58+” flag tag is found at the inner collar with Regehr’s number “28” handwritten above while the NHL crest from the neck is missing. Featuring an attractive and layered Flames team crest fully administered in tackle twill, the distinguished alternate captain’s “A” sits over the left breast. The sleeves and verso have been accented with Robyn’s number “28” in slanted three-layer tackle twill numerals, with “Regehr” spelt out across the affixed nameplate. Canadian and Provincial flag patches are found over the shoulders. The interior of the jersey shows a shortened fight strap with “F10826” found handwritten above it, the same code as found on the MeiGray patch that is sewn to the interior hem and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “White Set 1 w/A” example. Sporting good game-wear with stick marks throughout the lower front and sleeves, team repairs and board burns are found near each cuff while the inside shows good pilling at the elbows. Additionally, the jersey has been photo-matched with Getty Image #84068674 (December 16th, 2008 vs St. Louis) to the marks found on the front of the jersey. An LOA from the Flames will accompany.
