Released during seasons that saw the Milwaukee Bucks and the Cincinnati Reds win championships in their respective leagues, up for grabs here is this vintage 1970s basketball and baseball card collection that features specimens from 1970-71 Topps “tall-boys” basketball and 1975 Topps baseball “mini’s” and includes thirty (30) cards in total. For the basketball offerings that total cards, most are seen as being in the condition range of VG-EX to EX with a couple of exceptions that fall down closer towards G to VG. Cards from the set that are present include #’s 2-Scoring Average Leaders (West, Alcindor, Hayes), 7-Bradley, 10-Havlicek SP, 13-Riley RC, 20-Monroe, 24-Checklist, 50-Chamberlain, 65-Baylor, 80-Wilkens SP, 86-Nelson SP, 97-Van Lier SP RC, 100-Robertson, 101A-Checklist (1970-71 in black), 107-West AS and 108-Cunningham AS SP. For the baseball cards, most of the thirteen (13) cards are found to be in the scope of EX to EX-MT condition after inspection with a couple closer to VG-EX to EX. Including the examples of 1-Aaron Sets Homer Mark, 3-Gibson 3000th Strikeout, 5-Ryan Fans 300 for 3rd Year In A Row, 20-Munson, 70-Schmidt, 150-Gibson, 185-Carlton, 223-Yount RC, 300-Jackson, 500-Ryan, 616-Rookie Outfielders (Augustine, Mangual, Rice, Scott), 620-Rookie Catchers and Outfielders (Carter, Hill, Meyer, Roberts) and 660-Aaron. Lastly, the final two cards included are those of 1990-91 Score hockey offerings in the form of first-year examples of Jaromir Jagr and Martin Brodeur that fall into the condition range of EX to EX-MT.
