Concluding the 2003 CFL season 13-5 for a first-place finish in the West, the Edmonton Eskimos defeated Saskatchewan in the Division Final 30-23. The Eskimos would meet Montreal in the Grey Cup again for a second-consecutive season, and holding the Als scoreless in the first and fourth quarters, would take home their 12th championship in a decisive 34-22 victory. This 10K gold and diamond ring was presented to defensive tackle Steve Charbonneau for the Eskimos status as 2003 Grey Cup champions. Size 12 1/2 with an approx weight of 60 grams, the “EE” logo over the tableau is studded with 32 diamonds, with a second bed of diamonds covering the field beneath, with 42 pave set diamonds in yellow gold to represent Commonwealth Stadium. Each bezel corner also sports a trio of diamonds, for a total of 12 to symbolize the Eskimos' Grey Cup titles, with the outside perimeter of the bezel paved with 32 bead set diamonds. The left shank features “Eskimos” in raised letters above, with the year, CFL logo and the score in the Grey Cup below, while the right has “Charbonneau” above in raised letters, with the Grey Cup, an Edmonton helmet and his number below. The inner band is stamped "Jostens 10K", with "You can count on me" engraved to the inner band. Accompanied by the original wooden presentation/display box with an Eskimos logo and “Steve Charbonneau” on the lid, the ring's details are also listed on the inside cover. Showing good wear from use with numerous scratches and dings over the outer and inner bands, the ring also sports nicks along edges. An LOA from Steve Charbonneau will accompany.
