Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Winter 2023
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/28/2023
A day to remember in Edmonton, on Nov 22, 2003, over 50,000 fans packed Commonwealth Stadium to witness the Oilers Alumni battle the Montreal Canadiens Old Timers, with the hometown legends winning the match 2-0. Each of the 21 Oilers jerseys worn in the preceding practice were signed by the players, and we offer the example worn by HOFer Jari Kurri. A CCM model in solid white with "58" sizing affixed to the collar, the jersey features a full tackle twill team crest with "Kurri" and "17" heat-pressed to the reverse. There is also a Center Ice crest over the right breast, NHL crest to the reverse hem and CCM logo and size "58" swatch to the front hem. Worn only in the practice, there are no discernible marks, with Kurri signing the reverse in thin black ink. An LOA will accompany.
