Beginning his career in Motor City with the Red Wings before spending considerable time on the west coast with Los Angeles, Marcel Dionne is the Kings' all-time franchise leader for assists and points, with just Luc Robitaille scoring more goals than the Little Beaver. Closing out his incredible 18-year NHL career with a 3-season stint in The Big Apple, offered here is this New York Rangers 1987-88 team-signed “Marcel Dionne Night” framed poster that originally came from Dionne’s personal collection. Held on February 29th, 1988 in commemoration of Dionne hitting the 700-goal mark, the Rangers would defeat the St. Louis Blues 5-2 at MSG, with the contest serving as the first National Hockey League game played by Brian Leetch. The 16” x 20” poster has been signed by the likes of Duguay, Greschner, Vanbiesbrouck, Kisio, Deblois, Sandstrom, Nilan, Dahlen, Mullen, Ogrodnick and others including Rangers coach, Michel Bergeron, with all the autographs signed in black marker and displaying well. Framed to dimensions of 24” x 29”, the frame shows wear to the edges and corners with the plastic-like finish of the frame unglued on some areas and the glass not firmly in place within the frame.
Of note, While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit.
