Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction June 2023

The annual battle for Canadian football supremacy took place at BC Place Stadium, on November 30, 1986. Featuring the Hamilton Tiger-Cats taking on the Edmonton Eskimos, the Tiger-Cats unexpectedly dominated the Eskimos, winning the 74th Grey Cup 39–15. We offer a Hamilton Tiger-Cats 1986 Grey Cup champions 10K gold salesman's sample ring. Size 9 with an approximate weight of 34 grams, a raised Ti-Cats logo sits over the tableau near a large zirconia, encompassed by "Grey Cup Champions" and "1986" in raised letters/numerals. The right shank has "Hamilton" above and "CFL" below, along with the score of the Grey Cup game, while the left shank sports Ti-Cats helmet with "Sample" above and "08-20" below. The inner band is stamped "Jostens 10K", along with the sample numbers of "B-3771-014" and "A 4228". The ring shows wear including scratches to the band and a few tiny dings along edges.
