A memorable day for the B.C. Lions and their supporters, the team celebrated a 34-23 win over Winnipeg at the club's own B.C. Place in the 99th Grey Cup game, on November 27th 2011. The Lions claimed their sixth Grey Cup and were presented with these massive baubles to commemorate their amazing season. This magnificent, huge and dazzling 10K gold and diamond creation by Jostens was presented by the team to defensive tackle Khalif Mitchell, who saw action in the match. “Grey Cup” and “Champions” are both spelled out in raised white gold on the left and right bezel, respectively. The shimmering tableau displays the B.C. Lions team logo over the Grey Cup, all in relief with the logo, Cup, and the surrounding tableau absolutely filled with diamonds. A rendition of B.C. Place is displayed on the left shank between "Mitchell" and his jersey number, all in raised white gold. The right shank displays raised white gold images of six Grey Cups, each with a diamond set in the bowl, arrayed on either side with “Pride of all B.C.” between them at the top, a Lions’ paw logo with orange enamel below it, and “2011” stamped at the bottom of the shank. “Believe, Achieve, Make History” and “Jostens 10K” are stamped inside the band of this size 13 1/2 ring, which weighs about 82 grams. Showing heavy wear from considerable use, the band and shanks are covered with scratches and small dings, with a few gouges into the side of the ring.
