Arguably the most famous championship for the black and gold, the epic 1970 Stanley Cup was won on an overtime marker in Game 4 from the legendary Bobby Orr, with the goal forever recognized as one of the greatest in history. The victory would be the fourth championship for the century-old franchise, and we offer a Bruins’ “1970 Stanley Cup” framed limited-edition team-signed jersey display. Mounted with the reverse showing with “Stanley Cup” across the nameplate and “70” to the sleeves and verso, 16 team members have signed the numbers including Orr, Espo, Bucyk, Cheevers, Johnstone, Cashman, Awrey, Stanfield, Marcotte, Sanderson, R Smith, Lorentz, D Smith and coach Harry Sinden. The limited-edition number of “29/70” is handwritten in the base of the “7”, with photos of “the goal” and the team beneath along with a small plaque and pins. “Bruins” is also die cut into the matte above, with the display framed to full dimensions of approx 34” x 42”. A Classic Auctions LOA will accompany, and due to the size and/or weight, special shipping arrangements may be required.
Please note; While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit.
