O’Brien Cup champions after finishing in first place in the Canadian Division in 1937-38, the Toronto Maple Leafs would meet the Chicago Black Hawks in the Stanley Cup final after the boys from Windy City defeated the New York Americans in the semis. The best-of-five series would go four games, with the Indian head defeating the maple leaf to earn Chicago it’s second championship in just five seasons. We have a 1938 Stanley Cup Finals Game 2 program, held at Maple Leaf Gardens on April 7, 1938. With an attractive drawing of Red Horner on the cover by Samson, the program has the date stamped along with the original 15 cent cover price. Loaded with period hockey advertisements as well as the line-up and rosters, the 72-page treasure remains in stunning condition, exhibiting just very light spine wear and a crease to the back cover. This specimen is ideal for prominent display.
