Spanning nearly 20 years through what is considered by many to be baseball’s greatest era, we offer a desirable collection of programs and yearbooks totalling 10 and ranging from 1944 to 1962, with four World Series specimens present and accounted for. Included, we have a 1944 World Series program from the all-St. Louis matchup with the cover being from the games between October 6th – 8th where the Browns were the home team. Spine wear is seen with tape on the covers as well as surface wear and a red pen mark on the back with the line-up unscored, a 1948 World Series program with the Cleveland cover, creasing, surface wear and page bends are seen on the cover with the line-up card unscored, a 1951 World Series program with the Giants cover that has toning and creasing to both covers with an unscored line-up and a 1957 World Series program from October 9th with toning, liquid spots, spine and edge wear to the covers with the line-up having been scored. A Yankees cardboard visor is also included. Three yearbooks are present, with a 1956 Brooklyn Dodgers example included that is in low grade condition. Also found are a 1961 New York Yankees yearbook that has spine and surface wear to the covers and a 1962 St. Louis Cardinals that has been signed over the cover by Stan Musial. Both the signature and yearbook present well (light handling wear is seen with a crease to the front cover) with the autograph showing no issues and being accompanied by a JSA COA. Rounding out the collection are three 1951 New York Yankees programs with two having both Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio in the lineup. All three present well with two having only light wear and the other showing heavier toning and spine separation.
