Offered here, is this collection of 24 issues of “Sport” magazine, with nine (9) signed examples. The signed examples feature some incredible names of sporting legends including a May 1951 issue celebrating baseball’s jubilee that has been signed by Joe DiMaggio, Stan Musial and Lou Boudreau. Other signers include Stan Musial (x4), Hank Aaron, Chico Carrasquel, Warren Spahn and the lone non-baseball autograph, Frank Brimsek. All the autographs display with no flaws and have been signed in blue marker ink except for Carrasquel, who has signed in black pen. A grouping of 12 Mickey Mantle covers makes up the bulk of the collection, with each issue remaining in good condition and showcasing only light wear. The last three unsigned covers display Ted Williams, Joe DiMaggio, Jackie Robinson and Dick Groat, with those three and the autographed copies showing moderate wear, with some exhibiting heavier wear and damage, offering endless hours of vintage reading material, the collection will be accompanied by a JSA Auction LOA.
