Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/20/2022
The second-year card of Gordie Howe, at the time the NHL's perennial scoring champion, (he would win the Art Ross Trophy for the third of four straight seasons in 1952-53), is up for grabs here and features rather pleasing centering among its attributes. Receiving a rather generous 5 EX grade from KSA a number of years ago, this example exhibits two corner dings and somewhat rounded corners, with staining on the reverse also to be aware of. The crease-free image of the Red Wings' superstar is pleasant to look at though, with light scratches/scuffs to the KSA holder observed. A decent addition to your Howe/'52-53 Parkie stash it will be. Please note that the grading standards followed by KSA may not correspond to those of PSA, BGS or SGC. The outcome of an attempted cross-over of this card through any of those services therefore would be uncertain and cannot be guaranteed.
