Approximately 3000 cards are involved in this “enjoyed” batch, with low grade contributors galore and the lowdown as follows. From 1976-77 is a set missing 58 cards, with 350 extras present and then it’s a set from ’77-78 shy of 36, with close to 500 extras. A Mike Bossy rookie card (G+) is respectable from ’78-79, with that gathering requiring 32 cards for completion and joined by 450 extras. Condition throughout is dominated by P-F-G low graders, but you also can anticipate some VGs in the mix, along with duplication among the extras. Blue-bordered representatives from ’79-80 (580) include some with major flaws (tape, paper loss from tape removal) and others like the aforementioned. A box of 200 miscellaneous (‘70s, ‘80s) cards has notables that include a ’71-72 Marcel Dionne RC (P)(back damage), ’83-84 rookie cards of Lindbergh, Carbonneau and Housley, as well as half a dozen Gretzky specials, with a Pat Lafontaine RC from ’84-85 also spotted. Nothing high grade but no creases are observed (in those just mentioned); most are VG+ to VG-EX. We’ve pulled out the pertinent cards for you to have a look at – you’ll be getting hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of others to sift through on your relatively inexpensive trip back in time.
