Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/20/2022
Remembered for his lethal slap shot and strong presence on the blueline, Al MacInnis is a seven-time All-Star, with the Conn Smythe won in 1989 followed by the James Norris Memorial Trophy a decade later. From his time in Alberta, we have a signed stick used by MacInnis during the early-1990s with Calgary. A Sher-Wood P.M.P. 7000 model with “MacInnis” and “2” factory graphics, “Handcrafted exclusively for Al MacInnis” also appears on the underside. The original white ribbed tape pattern remains over the handle/knob, with the blade tape removed. “Calgary” is also stamped to the lower underside, with the NHL striping accent intact. Showing light use with marks to the shaft along with red paint transfer to the lower shaft, marks and some residue, MacInnis has signed across the frontside blade in black marker, adding “Best Wishes”.
