Traded to former-rival Toronto in the summer of 1970 after helping lead the St Louis Blues to consecutive Stanley Cup finals appearances, Jacques Plante spent parts of three seasons with the blue and white. Concluding his HOF career with the Oilers in the WHA, Plante would leave us in 1986 at age 57, with his early passing leaving a void for autograph collectors. We offer just that, with a framed typed goaltending tips letter on Maple Leaf Gardens letterhead signed by the legendary superstar. Known to respond to young admirers during the era with his world class netminding advice, the 8" x 10" single sheet lists 15 essential tips, with Plante signing in ballpoint at the base. Sporting the original fold lines, the sheet shows lust some light toning, double-matted and framed to approx 12 1/2" x 15 1/2". A JSA LOA will accompany, and we should note that the wrong image is shown on the LOA.
Please note; While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for any damage to frames that occurs during shipping.
