Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/13/2022
Hailing from the very first season of NHL hockey in Tennessee, we have Sebastien Bordeleau’s Nashville Predators jersey from the expansion team’s inaugural campaign of 1998-99. Made by Bauer, size “54” tagging remains in the neck while “Nashville 98” patches sit affixed to each shoulder. The front is decorated with the Predators sabretooth tiger crest while the sleeves and verso are stylized with Bordeleau’s number “71” in dual-layer tackle twill with “Bordeleau” spelt across an affixed nameplate in white twill letters. Embroidered NHL and Bauer crests grace the reverse hem. Game-use is well exhibited with stick marks and extensive pilling to the silver satin material on the tops of the arms while the air knit material of the arms shows stick marks, paint transfers, board burns and a team repair. A hole on the lower front hem of the jersey is also found as well as a few marks to the front crest. An LOA from the Predators will accompany the item.
