Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022

A chance at a raw Terry Sawchuk rookie card comes along rather infrequently these days and will intrigue many, with some intriguing aspects to describe with this appealing-to-some example of card #61 from Parkhurst's inaugural hockey card issue. If it appears quite wide to you, your eyes are not deceiving you, for this one is indeed wider than other Sawchuk/Parkies we've compared it to. Definitely not trimmed, the card exhibits a visible diagonal scratch near the top left corner that appears to turn into a very light subtle small crease as it reaches the top border. An extremely light wrinkle is also detected on the lower back and on the upper back is where a smidgeon of black appears. It feels like matter of some unknown type and not ink. An attractive VG example is the way we see things and possibly VG+ in the eyes of some. With no unsightly creases/flaws, this Terry merits welcoming to your Parkie/RC collection.
