Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/31/2022
Beginning with the hallowed Olympia at 5920 Grand River Avenue, the Detroit Red Wings have called three buildings home since their inception in 1926. After more than half a century, the Red Wings moved from the Olympia to Joe Louis Arena in 1979, followed by a new address at Little Caesars Arena, in 2017. Celebrating Motor City’s venues and featuring players who starred during each building’s tenure, we have a “Home of the Red Wings” print signed by Ted Lindsay, Joey Kocur and Dylan Larkin. Offered directly from the Ted Lindsay Foundation with proceeds from this sale to benefit their continued battle against autism, the 10” x 24” print pictures all three arenas, with Lindsay signing above the Olympia image, Kocur beneath the Joe Louis Arena image and Larkin beneath the Little Caesars Arena image. All three blue sharpie signatures display well with light wear to the print, with an LOA to accompany.
