Finishing in first place overall one point ahead of Bobby Hull and the Chicago Black Hawks at the conclusion of the 1962-63 NHL season, the Toronto Maple Leafs would defeat Montreal in the Semis and Detroit in the Stanley Cup final all while losing only two playoff contests. Featuring the Stanley Cup finals combatants, we have a 1962-63 MLG program for the Jan 12, 1963 match between Toronto and Detroit, team-signed by 16 members of the Stanley Cup-champion Leafs. Featuring Johnny Bower on the cover, the line-up page is intact, with all 16 signing the cover in matching ballpoint, including deceased HOFers Horton (gorgeous bold example with no issues), Bower, Kelly, Stanley and George Armstrong, along with Mahovlich, Keon, Nevin, Litzenberger, Simmons, Stewart, Haggert (trainer) and a few others. The program shows wear including toning and minor cover creases, with additional wear to the spine and rusting to the staples. The Leafs would slip past the Red Wings on Jan 12th 2-1, with Keon scoring a pair along with Gordie Howe netting the lone Motor City goal.
