Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022

Forever remembered roaming the Montreal Canadiens crease maskless throughout the club’s most successful period during the Stanley Cup dynasty of the late-1950s, Jacques Plante played the last 8 NHL games of his HOF career for the Boston Bruins, with the final 2 matches being playoff contests vs the New York Rangers, on April 4th and April 5th of 1973. This Madison Square Garden Stanley Cup program has been signed by the iconic keeper. Produced for the series with an image of the Stanley Cup on the cover along with “N.Y. Rangers vs. Boston Bruins”, the roster page is intact, with Plante signing the cover in dark ballpoint, with no issues for the attractive autograph. The program itself exhibits toning along with a bit of finger print staining to the reverse cover, with the staples and all pages firmly attached. Two vintage 8” x 10” photos are included, with one signed by Stan Mikita in blue marker with a personalization, while the other depicts the Habs during the warm-up, with a “Guy Lafleur” signature in fiber tip marker (each photo shows wear, and we should note that while the Lafleur signature is mentioned, it appears quite different from his usual signature, and is therefor being sold as just a photo with an autograph).
