Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/1/2022
Wisely acquiring small forward Kawhi Leonard after trading DeMar DeRozen, the Toronto Raptors went 58-24 during their 24th NBA season in 2018-19, and after defeating Orlando, Philadelphia and Milwaukee in the playoffs, beat the defending champion Golden State Warriors in the final. Purchased directly from the Raptors after their 2019 championship season, we have an Official NBA game ball with the “2019” NBA Finals logo. A Spalding Adam Silver model with “Official Game Ball” and NBA logo, the “2019” NBA Finals logo appears above the Spalding emblem, with a production number directly above the inflation nozzle opening (the balls that saw action in the NBA Final had "NBA Finals 2019" instead of the inventory number above the inflation nozzle opening, with the logo itself also visibly darker on the examples used in the finals, the aforementioned details are visible on photos of warm-up and games). The ball itself shows light wear with no obtrusive marks. This ball is not offered as a game-used ball from the 2019 NBA Finals, it is offered as a game ball with the 2019 NBA Finals logo which was obtained from the team, its intended use is unknown but these were not mass produced and only a few examples have surfaced over the years.
