Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/31/2022
Drafted by Edmonton and seeing action in 27 regular-season games with Philadelphia through three seasons, Danny Syvret scored the lone goal for the club at the 2010 Winter Classic, and we offer the Flyers jersey worn by the Milgrove native during the first period (Syvret scored his goal during the second period). Sporting a label with “56” sizing affixed to the collar, NHL and Reebok crests grace the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the classic winged-P Flyers team crest in layered tackle twill, “26” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Syvret” across the attached black nameplate in single white twill. The Winter Classic patch is affixed over the right breast. Worn for just a single period, the jersey exhibits light game-use, with a bit of staining above and beneath the team crest. A MeiGray crest numbered “G13302” is affixed to the inside hem, and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a "White Retro - Winter Classic" and "Worn During 1st Period 1/1/10 - NHL Set" specimen.
