A Stanley Cup champion with Detroit in 2008, Niklas Kronwall has been successful on the international stage with Sweden as well, winning gold medals in 2006 at both the Winter Olympics and World Championships. Hailing from his third season in Motor City, we have a Detroit Red Wings jersey worn by the Stockholm native, specifically in the 6-3 victory over Chicago on Jan 13, 2007. A “54” size tag graces the collar, with Reebok and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with the famous winged-wheel Red Wings team crest with embroidered detailing, the solid red V-neck has been accented with “55” sewn to the sleeves and verso in single white twill. The Garth Brooks "Teammates for Kids" patch resides over the right breast. Worn for a single contest, the jersey exhibits very light use with no discernible marks. Getty Image 73023009 (Jan 13, 2007) appears to show the extended white thread at the bottom right side of the Garth Brooks patch, but the image is not clear enough to be considered a definitive photo-match. A MeiGray crest numbered “D06206” has been placed over the inside hem near the team patch that lists both “January 13, 2007” and “Garth Brooks”, and according to the MeiGray population report, the jersey is a “Red w/ ‘Teammates For Kids’ Patch – 1/13/07” specimen.
