A six-time Stanley Cup champion in only eight seasons, Ken Dryden also played in five All-Star Games, with five Vezina Trophies won/shared. We have a team-signed stick used by the HOF member in 1978-79, with any and all material from the superstar netminder highly sought. A Canadien model, with this the type of stick used by Ken starting in the mid-1970s and throughout the Habs late-1970s Cup dynasty, with “Dryden” stamped over the upper shaft and “29” handwritten. The original white tape on the blade and white on the knob remains intact. The striping accents also remain partially intact, with excellent use exhibited, with numerous puck marks to the taped blade (there is also a water stain), and chipping at the underside heel. There are small nicks to the reverse blade from Dryden hitting the stick against his blade tips - with this common on his gamers. There is also some glue residue over the paddle and knob, with the stick apparently mounted at one time. Both sides of the shaft have been signed - mostly in blue ballpoint, including Dryden, along with Gainey, Houle, Shutt, Larocque, Lambert, Robinson, Cournoyer, Chartraw, Savard, Hughes, Larouche, Lapointe, Langway, Engblom, Napier and a few others.
