This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/13/2022
Best remembered first as a player and then as head coach and general manager of the New York Rangers, with his relationship with the Blueshirts spanning over a quarter century, Frank Boucher first rose to hockey prominence as a member of the Vancouver Maroons, starring in the PCHA in the early-1920s. Inducted into the hallowed halls of the HHOF in 1958, Boucher would pass away in 1977 at age 76. Offered here, is this “Heritage” line New York Rangers jersey made by Ebbets Field Flannels featuring a cut signature of Boucher’s embedded into the back number. A size “XXL” garment, the thick sweater style jersey made of acrylic and wool has been styled with the classic script “Rangers” diagonally over the front in red and white individual layered felt letters. Remaining in new-with-tags condition, the back of the jersey shows Boucher’s number “7”, with the cut signature inserted into the top of the number. Signed in blue ink pen, the autograph shows without issue. A hologram is affixed to the bottom of the number with the piece also accompanied by a JSA LOA.
