Acquired by the Maple Leafs on November 2nd, 1947 in what was called at time “One of the most significant transactions in league history, Max Bentley would become a blue and white fan favourite, helping the Leafs to three Stanley Cups in his time there. Elected to the HHOF in 1966, Bentley passed away in 1984 at the age of 63. Offered here, is this Toronto Maple Leafs CCM Classic Sweaters jersey with a cut signature of Bentley’s embedded into the back number. In new-with-tags condition, the front of the size “L” garment has been styled with a layered felt Maple Leafs crest with embroidered details below a tie-up neck. The reverse of the jersey has been decorated with Bentley’s number “7” with the CCM logo embroidered into the rear hem. Bentley’s signatured has been inserted into the top of the number, with the autograph signed in blue pen and displaying without issue. A hologram is affixed to the bottom of the number, with the piece also accompanied by a JSA LOA.
