Acquired by the Toronto Maple Leafs for $7500 in 1935-36, Turk Broda would spend 14 seasons representing the Blue and White, winning five Stanley Cup championships, with Vezina Trophies earned in both 1941 and 1948. Inducted into the HHOF in 1967, Broda passed away in 1972 at the age of 58. Offered here, is this Toronto Maple Leafs CCM Classic Sweaters jersey with a cut signature of Broda embedded into the back number. In new-with-tags condition, the front of the size “XXL” garment has been styled with a layered felt Maple Leafs crest with embroidered details below a tie-up neck. The reverse of the jersey has been decorated with Broda’s number “1” with the CCM logo embroidered into the rear hem. Turk’s signatured has been inserted into the bottom of the number, with the autograph signed in black fountain pen and displaying without issue. A hologram is affixed to the top of the number, with the piece also accompanied by a JSA LOA.
