Discovered in packs while the Detroit Red Wings were heading towards a record seventh straight regular season championship and a fourth Stanley Cup title in six years were Parkhurst cards like these with the complete 100-card assembly offered here presenting in an overall grade range of VG-EX to EX with some EX-MT examples present throughout as well. Led condition wise by EX to EX-MT examples of 1-McNeil, 3-Beliveau, 24-Armstrong, 65-Bower RC, 92-Lumley Stops Howe IA and 97-Reibel Tests Habs Rookie, it is worth noting that the McNeil, along with cards #11, 13, 18, 22, 24, 34, 35, 37, 39, 50, 51, 53, 54, 55, 56, 61, 63, 67, 70, 76, 80, 82 and 88 are Lucky Premium Back offerings while the Bower is the set's key rookie card. Followed up by VG-EX to EX cards of 31-Horton (discoloured top and edge ding), 98-Plante Protects Against Slippery Sloan and 100-Sawchuk Stops Boom Boom (light border and edge wear), VG to VG-EX offerings include the likes of 7-Richard (light crease at top right corner plus ding), 8-Geoffrion (corner wear), 14-Harvey (light corner wear and tiny wrinkle on back at the bottom) and 41-Howe (small corner creases at top right and bottom left). Finishing up the key cards, #36 of Alex Delvecchio is seen as being in the neighbourhood of VG-EX condition with a small corner ding and bleach like border while cards #33 of Terry Sawchuk (glue residue on the back) and #99, the in action card titled "Placid Plante Foils Tireless Teeder" are both in range of G to VG. Additionally, it is worth pointing out that cards #20, 34, 42, 43, 66, 80, 84 and 96 are graded lower than the rest of the set. A classic vintage assembly awaiting their new home!
