Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/31/2022
Thought-provoking batch of hockey cards hails from the personal collection of the late, great Ted Lindsay, one of hockey's fiercest competitors and one of the Original Six era's premier players. Hockey's top point-producing left winger upon his retirement, "Terrible Ted" signed his 1951-52 Parkhurst rookie card in bold blue ink, adding "H.H.O.F. 66", with card #56 an attractive low grade example due to a side-to-side crease and back damage in the form of glue residue. There are two Parkies each from '53-54 (VG, F) and '54-55 (VG-EX (measures short), VG), while the best of three '54-55 Topps examples is G. Another (F) is similarly autographed in blue ink with the Hall of Fame notation and a low grade (P) entry concludes. A Letter of Authenticity from the Lindsay family will be included.
