Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/1/2022
Beginning his career with the Quebec Nordiques, goaltender Garth Snow dressed for four different clubs throughout his tenure and represented the US at the World Championships and Winter Olympics. From his final NHL season where he guarded the crease of the New York Islanders in 20 regular-season contests, we have a photo-matched Islanders third jersey. Goalie Style and size “60” labeling is affixed to the collar, with Reebok and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with the iconic Long Island team crest with embroidered detailing, “30” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Snow” across the affixed nameplate in matching material. Sporting light game-use with a few marks visible over the front, Getty Image #56031853 (Oct 29, 2005) has been matched to the dark streak across the left side of the team crest. A “2005-2006” year swatch resides on the inside hem along with a patch from MeiGray. A “Third Set1” specimen according to the company’s population report, an Islanders/MeiGray LOA will accompany.
