Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
First expanding the AHL’s showcase to the “All-Star Classic” in 1996, the league’s best-on-best competition included a Skills Competition, with players selected from the six Canadian teams and twelve American squads to compose the “Canadian All-Stars” vs “American All-Stars”. We have a pair of sticks, with an example team-signed by the “Canadian All-Stars”, along with the second stick team-signed by the “American All-Stars”, with the sticks accompanied by a “Canadian All-Stars” track suit from the 1998 AHL All-Star Classic. Each stick features AHL graphics along with the date for the 1996 All-Star Classic, with the American stick signed by 23 in black marker including Manny Legace, while the Canadian stick has been signed by 22 including Pavol Demitra. The track suit has a label affixed to the collar with “XL” sizing, with the 1998 All-Star Classic crest over the left breast. The top and pants both show just light wear. Hailing from the personal collection of an important hockey executive, his signed LOA will accompany.
