For those of you who have yet to secure a high grade Mario Lemieux Topps rookie card comes this example of card #9 from 1985-86, recently returning from the PSA examination room in a (scratch-free) holder labeled MINT 9 (ST). Near-perfect centering is observed, with a not-drastic wax or gum stain on the reverse, (up where Mario’s name and surname appear), leading to the qualifier. After his initial 100-point NHL season that procured him the Calder Trophy as top rookie, Lemieux again impressed his peers the season that cards like this were pulled from Topps wax packs, his fellow NHLers voting him the recipient of the Lester B. Pearson Trophy following a 141-point campaign. You should be impressed when this encapsulated collectible is delivered.
