Referred to as the "gold standard by which other middle linebackers are measured”, Dick Butkus was an eight-time Pro Bowler in his nine NFL seasons, with two Defensive Player of the Year awards earned. Leading his homestate University of Illinois to a Rose Bowl victory in 1963, Butkus was a two-time All-American with the Fighting Illini, and spent his entire pro career with Chicago. This limited-edition helmet has been signed by the 1979 HOF inductee. A full-size Riddell model with Bears design on one side and Fighting Illini paint scheme on the other, Butkus has signed along the top within the Bears section in silver, with the gorgeous autograph presenting beautifully against the dark background. The limited-edition number of “2/3” has been placed over the lower reverse, with a pair of holograms affixed including from Fanatics, with an LOA to accompany along with a 20” x 17 ½” x 11 ½” wood and plexiglass display case with etched NFL logo.
