A pair of scrapbooks from the 1960s and 1970s and a 1990s-style Canadiens “P. Mahovlich 20” locker nameplate highlight this lot of memorabilia from Peter Mahovlich’s personal collection. A green-covered 12” x 10” album and a larger 15” x 13” inch album with “Peter Mahovlich” in gold-colored letters on the cover are filled with newspaper and magazine clippings and pictures with vignettes from Peter’s minor hockey days, his time in the minor leagues and with the Red Wings, then on with the Montreal Canadiens, where he won the Stanley Cup four times, the first two alongside his HOF brother Frank, and two more as the center who fashioned a pair of 100-point seasons between HOF wingers Guy Lafleur and Steve Shutt. There are 14 Pete Mahovlich hockey cards, including 13 Topps and one O-Pee-Chee, all from 1970-71 through 1980-81 with grades varying from ‘fair’ to ‘ex”. Comes with Peter Mahovlich’s signed LOA.
