Scoring 49 points as a defenceman during his rookie season with Calgary, Dion Phaneuf earned selection to the 2005-06 All-Rookie Team and enjoyed his first of three NHL All-Star Games the following season. From his rookie campaign with Calgary, we have a Flames jersey worn by Phaneuf in 2005-06 with desirable 25th anniversary crest. A label with “58” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the bottom hem and reverse neckline respectively. Styled with the traditional Flames team crest administered in layered white, gold and black tackle twill, “3” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material, with the Flames 25th anniversary crest over the right breast. Showing nice game-use with washed-out dark marks over the front and sleeves, there are also faint burn marks, with a slit beneath the reverse left shoulder. A year swatch resides on the inside hem next to a patch from MeiGray numbered “C02218”, and according to their population report, the jersey is a “Red Set 1” example. A MeiGray/team LOA will accompany.
