Lending his vast hockey knowledge and expertise to the modern game, Peter Mahovlich has served as an NHL scout for numerous seasons throughout the late-1990s and 2000s including for Atlanta and Florida. The AHL Chicago Wolves were the minor-league affiliates of Atlanta during Mahovlich’s tenure with the club (throughout the 2000s), and won Calder Cups twice, including the season the offered Chicago Wolves Calder Cup Championship 10K gold ring was presented to Mahovlich, in 2007-08. Size 13 with an approx weight of 56 grams, “Wolves” in raised letters encrusted with zirconias sits over a bed of additional zirconias on the tableau, with “Calder Cup” above and “Champions” below. The right shank has an image of the Calder Cup with “We not me” above and “Chicago 2008” below, while the left sports team logos and series totals from their playoff victims with “Mahovlich” above and “ATL” below. The inner band is stamped “10K”. Exhibiting moderate wear from use, there are scratches and a few small dings visible along the band and edges. Hailing from his personal collection, a signed LOA from Peter Mahovlich will accompany along with a presentation box for the ring with "2008 Calder Cup Champions" and "Peter Mahovlich" engraved to the lid along with a Wolves logo (moderate wear to the box including scratches).
