Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
One of the most productive Russian-born players in NHL history, Sergei Fedorov began his career with the famous and dominant CSKA Moscow, and earned numerous accolades while representing four different NHL clubs, most notably Detroit. From the early-1990s, a few seasons before winning the Hart Memorial and Frank J. Selke Trophies, we have a signed stick used by Fedorov circa 1992-93. A Louisville TPS model in solid black with white identifiers, “Fedorov” is stamped to the upper shaft, with “91” handwritten in silver and somewhat worn away. The original white tape over the blade and spiral pattern over the handle are intact, with the stick showing heavier use with considerable wear to the blade including tears to the tape on the underside, with additional wear over the handle and marks/chips to the lower shaft. A silver ink signature from Fedorov has been placed over the upper shaft that displays nicely against the black background.
