The mid-1990s were a prosperous time for the Detroit Red Wings and Steve Yzerman, with the legendary captain leading the team to three Stanley Cup Finals including the first appearance of Lord Stanley’s mug in Motown in over forty years. This stick was used by the superstar during the mid-1990s. A Vic 9050 APT model in Motor City colours, “Yzerman 5.0-115” is stamped to the upper shaft, with the original white tape in place over the blade and red cloth over the shaved handle. “937-19” is also handwritten on the lower underside in pencil, with nice game-use exhibited on the vintage lumber including heavy wear, cuts and puck marks to the taped section of blade as well as minor spotting, with additional marks to the shaft, with a few small areas of red paint transfer visible. Addendum; The title originally mentioned that the stick was signed, the stick is not signed by Yzerman.
