Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/27/2021
A fourth round draft selection in 1971, Neil Komadoski spent a trio of seasons with his hometown WCHL Winnipeg Jets before making his NHL debut for LA in 1972-73. Seeing action in over 500 NHL games throughout his career, we offer a St Louis Blues jersey worn by Komadoski during his time with the club in the late-1970s. Rawlings labeling with “50” sizing and a jersey number swatch are affixed to the collar, with a customized loop-style fight strap utilized. Styled with the classic blue note team crest in layered tackle twill, “20” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material. There is evidence of a former longer nameplate, and we should note that Komadoski wore the #20 jersey for the Blues in 1977-78, 1978-79 and 1979-80. A few marks are present over the lower front along with additional marks and scrapes to the sleeves. Heavy pilling is visible within the interior along with a few small areas of paint transfer, with single team repairs situated over the lower front, reverse and right sleeve.
