Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021

Impregnable along the Blueshirts blueline for almost two decades, Brian Leetch earned a pair of James Norris Trophies for his superior defensive skills throughout his career along with the Calder Memorial as the top rookie, in 1989. From late in his career in Manhattan as well as his single swan-song season in Toronto, we have a pair of signed sticks used by the star defenceman in the late-1990s and early-2000s. Easton Ultra Lite (used with New York in 1998-99) and Synergy (used with Toronto in 2003-04) models with “Leetch” on the inserted blade stem of the former and “2 Leetch” factory graphics on the latter, each stick retains the now-worn white tape patterns with large knobs over the handles, with the tape removed from each blade. Leetch has signed each front side blade – the Rangers stick in blue sharpie, the Leafs stick is silver paint pen – with each signature gorgeous. Both sticks exhibit light to moderate game-use with marks to the shafts and wear over the taped handles.
