Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
The first Russian-born player in history to reach the NHL 1,000-points plateau, Sergei Fedorov is a six-time All-Star, with numerous gold medals won while representing Russia including at the IIHF World Championships. From his time with the Detroit Red Wings in the late-1990s/early-2000s, we have a signed stick used by the superstar, with this type of model used circa 1999-01. An Easton Ultra Lite model with inserted Christian blade, “Fedorov” is handwritten to the upper shaft, with the original white spiral tape pattern over the handle with “91” handwritten, with the blade tape removed. Fedorov signed the front side blade in black marker, with just very light game-use visible including wear over the handle tape, with the shaft remaining relatively clean.
