Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Seeing action in 60 games during his last of three seasons with the Atlanta Thrashers in 2007-08, Marian Hossa was acquired by the Pittsburgh Penguins at the trade deadline in late February, and made an impact with the club during his lone season in Pennsylvania, finishing third in playoff scoring with 26 points. From his final season in Georgia, we have a stick used by Hossa while with the Thrashers in 2007-08. A Bauer One90 model with “Hossa 18” factory graphics, the original black tape remains over the blade and blue cloth-over-white spiral pattern on the handle (loose strand), with a single-strand spiral pattern added to the length of the shaft. Good game-use is exhibited, with wear to the taped section of blade including the underside, with some additional marks and small surface chips to the shaft. Hailing from the personal collection of an important hockey executive, his signed LOA will accompany.
