Enjoying career-high years while in Georgia, Marian Hossa would spend a trio of seasons with the Atlanta Thrashers from 2005 to 2008 and register his best numbers of 92 and 100 points in his first and second seasons respectively. From his 100-point season of 2006-07 which included scoring 43 goals, we have a stick used by Hossa. A Mission model with “Marian” decal affixed to the upper shaft, the original white tape remains on the blade and white-over-blue cloth on the handle with reinforcing strand, with a spiral pattern added to the length of the shaft. Both sides of the blade have been “rubbed”, with residue at the front and reverse heel sections, with heavy game-use exhibited on the composite. There is wear to the taped section of blade, with additional wear and marks to the shaft including a bit of red paint transfer to the taped section of handle. Hailing from the personal collection of an important hockey executive, his signed LOA will accompany.
