An interesting variety of vintage cards is available here, with a couple of 1911-12 C55 tobacco cards highlighted by that of Hall of Famer Tom Dunderdale, graded 3 VG by KSA. A mark through the scoring star’s image and minor paper loss on the reverse are to note, while a card of Ottawa Senator Bruce Ridpath is slabbed 2 G. Also inspected and encapsulated by KSA are rookie cards of HOFers Dave Keon (’61-62 Parkhurst – 2 G) and Jean Ratelle (’61-62 Topps – 3 VG), with minor back damage visible on the former. Still decent to hold and behold, they’re joined by Parkhurst, Topps and O-Pee-Chee representatives but high grade examples are not to be anticipated; most show handling/wear (VG neighborhood), with a lone ’51-52 Parkie (97-Mickoski (VG)) leading chronologically. A couple of ’52-53 commons, ’53-54 cards of 1-Lumley (F) and 37-Arbour RC (G), three from ’54-55 (45-Leswick has a Lucky Premium back) and nine ’55-56s (OTGs Primeau, Conacher, Apps and Bailey) are present, along with eight from ’59-60 (5-Chadwick, 7-Armstrong and 50-Clancy (VG)). Parkies from the ‘60s are eight ’62-63s (39-Beliveau (F) and 54-JC Tremblay RC (P)(writing on the back)) and 1-Stanley (VG+) from ’63-64. A dozen Topps card include five from ’54-55, including 1-Gamble (VG) and 3-Howell (VG), a ’65-66 Maple Leafs team card (G+) and Stan Mikita’s ’67-68 “triple” (VG), with the OPCs from the ‘70s highlighted by five Bobby Orr appearances, four from Guy Lafleur and second-year cards of Perreault and Park, with again, VG as the average. A nifty mix to contemplate.
