Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
A nifty array of goodies up for grabs here spans three decades, with fun graphics displayed on a 1974 Donruss Football Super Freaks wax box and the 24 packs of stickers (and gum) certified unopened by Baseball Card Exchange, the unopened specialist’s shrink-wrap now sealing the 47-year old collectibles. The “Class Bully” was selected by Topps to appear on the wrappers of its 1980 “Wanted Posters” issue, with 49 unopened packs present and from our consignor’s stash that features box after box of certified unopened material. Very minimal handling/wear to the big (approximately 3-1/8” by 5-1/4”) packs is to report. Meanwhile, dating back to the early-1960s are classic plastic coins picturing automobiles and airplanes. We count 130 different car coins (200 comprise a complete set), and 81 plane examples, all of them in coin holders and binder pages. They display well and are joined by some duplicate throw-ins; 26 cars and 20 planes. Fun, fun awaits the new owner!
