Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
The first MLB team in almost half a century to go through the entire season without being swept in a single series, the Toronto Blue Jays finished first in the American League East at the conclusion of the 1992 season and defeated the Atlanta Braves to claim the first Fall Classic north of the border. This baseball has been team-signed by the 1992 World Series champion Blue Jays. An Official Rawlings Bobby Brown American League sphere, approx 35 have signed in blue ballpoint, including HOFers Jack Morris, Roberto Alomar and Dave Winfield along with Kelly Gruber, Duane Ward, Joe Carter, David Weathers, David Cone, Doug Linton, Rance Mullniks, Mark Eichhorn, Dave Stieb, Tom Henke, David Wells, Pat Hentgen, Cito Gaston (manager) Larry Hisle (coach) and others. The signatures present nicely despite being somewhat bunched-up, with some toning and dirt staining to the ball.
