Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/27/2021
Originally available for a mere quarter along with a St Lawrence Starch Co product label or box top, Bee Hive issued a promotion that featured rings, pins and tie clips from 1949 to 1951, and we offer an especially rare and desirable Maurice Richard ring. Featuring a portrait image as opposed to the examples issued with a half-body pose, the ring is designed to fit any finger, with the circular image covered under lucite, with "NHL" and crossed hockey sticks on one shank, and “Stanley Cup” with a raised image of the trophy on the other. The Rocket’s image remains clean with sharp clarity, with light to moderate wear to the band including a few small dark marks on the underside. An absolute must for Bee Hive completists, this is one of the nicest examples we have ever handled.
